The 2018 Midterm Elections saw women of many different backgrounds win in their respective election bids across the country paving the way for battles regarding women’s health, health insurance, and immigration. Texas was no different bringing in a wave of women to shape the courts and politics in Texas.
Travis County elected Sheryl Cole to Texas House District 47. Cole is a mother of three boys and has served as lawmaker at the city level for more than a decade.
